Sew gorgeous! We were just telling a coworker that our wedding cake was to have flowers of all different colors sprinkled all over the cake, but when we got our wedding photos back to proof, we noticed that the wedding cake in the photos only had pink roses around the cake. I felt very sorry for the bride who got our cake if her wedding was to be all pink. Oh how I love these prints!

Winter was fun and I enjoyed the snow, but it is time to move on to the wonder of Spring and the scents and beautiful colors of the flowers and blooming trees. Capturing them in a quilt would make a wonderful memory and raise ones spirits when questionable weather again returns. Cuddle up in a quilt of flowers and cocoa.
I love all the fresh colors and scents in the air with the sounds of children out playing outside in the fresh air!!!
What am I looking forward to this Spring? So many things… flowers, singing birds, green grass, short sleeve tops without a jacket, sunshine that feels warm, open windows!
Spring! A renewal of spirit, inspired by all the beauty that surrounds me – A renewal of body, as I anticipate some surgery to relieve long-standing pain – A renewal of ideas, as I begin new projects for myself & others using my God-given talents.

My tulips are coming up & I want to peek under the pile of snow to see how my daffodils are doing.
